What type of food are you feeding the clown?

I’m feeding it frozen brine shrimp and pellets
Those normally dont cause stringy white poop, how long have you had the clown and is it still actively eating?

I’m sure one of the fish vets and/or other experts will probably chime in, but stringy white poop in clowns can be tricky. If you are going to treat it should be Abx mixed with food. That is Metroplex (the antibiotic) plus Focus which is used to bind it to the food. Direct delivery to the GI track. I’m not sure to length of the protocol, probably 10-14 days. Try to keep away from inverts. Good luck.

General Cure is fine, but you don’t need the Prazi component.

You’ll definitely want the Focus. Otherwise you want get the binding to the food you need. It’s probably not a super time sensitive rush as long as everyone is eating well. If you want to wait and order on Amazon that’ll probably be fine.

Ideally you’d move the fish to QT and treat there. In the absence of that just do your best to target feed the fish and keep away from the shrimp. Maybe give the shrimp a hunk of normal food then target feed the fish the medicated food.

You can google, maybe humblefish thread or somewhere on this site for more info, but maybe a 2 week treatment, preferably with Focus and Metro. Go from there.

Yep, mix the focus with metro or GC and your brine shrimp. There will be instructions with the Focus. I think it’ll be 1 scoop of focus (it comes with a scoop) plus one scoop of the medication (use the same scoop that’s in the focus).

Some people add Seachem Garlic Gaurd to make the medicated food more palatable to the fish. I tend to think this is a good idea.

Ideally, that would be the case. Maybe treat for 2 weeks? So summary.

Mixed a scoop GC + scoop focus. Ideally a little Garlic Gaurd for flavor. Stir. Let sit for 20-30 mins. Feed 1-2 x daily for 2 weeks. Don’t exceed the 2 x daily. You can put it in the fridge.
