Hey guys new here and first post. About a week ago I noticed some white spots on one of my cyphastreas. I’ve had it for a year and all parameters are as follows
- weekly 10% WC
- Salinity
- Alk 7.8-8.2 throughout the week, (Dosing Kalk)
- Calcium 440-470
- Magnesium about 1300
- Nitrates and phosphates undetectable but I feed fish heavy as well as reef roids (it’s a ten year old tank and I have a hard time getting just about anything started in the nutrient department) but all corals are healthy and colorful and grow fast.
The white spots have increased by about 50% since a week ago but I have noticed it’s still the same count. Anyone experience this and know if it’s contagious or if it’s something to worry about? Pictures attached. One from last week and one from last night. Look forward to hearing some insight!
