Hello everyone,

I just found a sort of a colony of these small white polyps-look under one of my rocks. Initially, I thought they were a massive conglomerate of aiptasias (since I found out about them exactly during an aiptasia raid). However, they do not look like aiptasia since they have more a "drop" shape and no tentacles. FYI, all my parameters are perfect (just tested) and no living organism in the tank seems under stress. Any idea what those polyps may be?

Thanks.

A.

Thanks for the prompt reply. Will try to take a better pic. In any event, pineapple sponges are good or bad? Need to remove that piece of rock?
If they're pineapple sponges, then they're harmless/beneficial (good) and will go away on their own in time. No need to do anything for pineapple sponges.
