White object on firefish

Not sure what this is and I didn't see it yesterday on my firefish. It almost looks like food or something stuck on top of his head. We'll slightly behind his head. It flaps up when swimming which is why I think it's debry or something. Still worried. Pictures aren't the best. The fish has no other symptons. Eating and swimming great. No other spots or mark on him. I'll try and get a better pic.

My suspicion is sand grain which should be gone by morning
If protozoan, will increase in number by tomorrow

Sorry, I can’t see clearly enough to guess what this might be. I agree, could be sand, could be a skin tag from a scrape. Just watch it for now.
