I thought I had identified this stuff as calothrix algae and have since dosed with chemi clean. I did a half dose originally and I don’t know if that was too weak but it seemed to do little to the problem I have. Phosphates and nitrates are reading 0 even though I have upped the feeding. I’ll attach some close ups that I took under white lighting. I bought a microscope to rule out Dino’s but didn’t get much farther than that. Anyone know what this may be?
I have a bunch of micro bubbles in the picture because I’m running my skimmer with the top off due to the chemipure dosing so that’s what all the white specs in the water column are. Looks like chrysophytes
Will take scrubbing and siphoning to clean it up and added flow to prevent it
