White Bandit Acro Crab in birdsnest during interceptor treatment?

Ok for the second dose I am thinking of putting the acro crab inside of something other than the birdsnest in my qt tank, because he doesn't stay put. I was thinking of putting it in a container with holes or slits in it inside the qt tank for 24 hours, or just put it in a 5 gallon with some rock. What do you guys think?
