I just conducted my first ICP test and it was reported that Aluminum was present, but well within range. I am pretty happy with that as I have A LOT of MarinePure (blocks and spheres) in my system.

Nice , I started off with about 20 spheres in my 750 and first icp test was slightly elevated and I panicked . I have 140lbs of rock and a not so heavy bioload so I just took it out. Glad to see that with your amount everything is still all good !!

My chaeto started as a baseball sized piece and after three months around half of it was ready to be harvested.

Because my wet side is so immaculate, a few folks have asked to see my dry side. It’s a f’n disaster, an embarrassment, and a safety hazard, so I’ve never shared a photo of it. :p

Well, in the spirit of transparency (and because I am fixing it over the next few days)...

Right?!?

The spaghetti actually flows out of the right side of my cabinet. Any insurance agent would have a heartattack if they saw that!

And... it is coming out of the left side too!

How well does marine pure work?
Works great. I use the spheres to seed my QT tanks, then just toss them (I QT with copper). The bricks seem to be doing their job. I feed super heavy and don’t have an ill-affects from it.

Tank is coming along nicely. To fix my spaghetti I ended up adding 1 main electronics cabinet on one side and a cabinet for my calcium and Kalk On the other side. I’m using my dryside cabinet for my dosing.

Not sure if you are interested but there is a way to get extension cables for those MP40s. If you want to know more on them I’ll try to find the info. You can make them or buy them premade. I got mine premade. Shoot me a PM and I’ll see if I can find the info if you’re interested.
