In my past tanks I always just made caves walls branching off one another but now I'm liking the look of the island scape. What do you prefer?

Well actually I just bought a 120 gallon for this purpose. All I have now is a biocube with the caves as well as a 3 gallon. If you wanna see so cool tanks with both caves and islands check out this thread; https://www.reef2reef.com/index.php?threads/220447/ there is a bunch.

Im really in love withe the floating scapes. One or two legs that touch the ground so inhabitants can get on the rock but able to see under the major formation. The look is awsome and I would guess it will trap less gunk. I think every format has potential though. :)

We've tried to do a 2 island 1 of which has a arch. But cramped in our 40b. I had bought the large rock structure for a larger build but life happens and left the hobby for a while but kept the rock I wanted to use it eventually.
