most likely, although its hard to be 100% sure. If they are wild caught than most likely.
They are WC. Could they be clarkii? Im confused cause of the tail colours. Allardis have white tails. These guys tails are slightly yellow? Im actually kinda colour blind so its hard for me to ID them.

Thing is…they also have clarkii. They have ‘african clown’ and ‘clarks clown’. They post the list of fish that arrives on their fb. Im so confused. I do not have pics of the clarkii there to compare tho cause its been a few months since they had clarkii on the list so i think they haven’t been ordering. Ive only seen the african clown on the list for the past 6 months ish. And the ones in the pics are the African clowns they listed

they are handsome regardless
Theyre beautiful and actually if I can’t find out what they really are its fine, BUT…im the kind that would like to know what exactly something is before buying it cause i like to read up on that specific sp. and learn about them. Im gonna be digging tonight. Probably gonna lay in bed for 4h trying to figure out what they are lol

Could be a mislabel. Or they may well be right but the Allards or African clownfish has always had a dark patch on the tail in my experience and a fairly darker body even as juveniles - Ive never seen the tail fin completely yellow like pictured when ive seen them. The yellows always been more of a "rim" and usually a white trim too, from what ive seen.

They are a very nice species of clwon either way with the enlarged fins.

Man… Hoplolatilus are also labelled as gobies over here and it annoys the heck out of me. Purely due to how tilefish and gobies aren’t actually the same families.

Anyway, interesting to see them labelled as clarkii as I haven’t seen a clarkii look like that. In my eyes, the body shape is wrong but I guess that could just be me.
