I am of course looking at Reef Roids, Reef Chili and I found one that is from a company that seems to specialize in Reef Nutrition called Reef Cane (and I'm a sucker for the 80's Miami Vice nostalgia font and color). What experience do any of you have with the above?

Every time I tried Reef Roids (mostly from samples at shows) my phosphates would spike up which was usually followed by an algae outbreak.

I cannot speak on the other two.

I usually make my own mix of dried phytos and zooplanktons to target the corals with.

I've been using AB+ for several months which had decent response/growth. I just tried reef roids that came as some samples as well this week. Defiantly saw a much better feeding response with it. My nitrates at 10 and phos have been stable at .04 this week so no changes to the switch yet.
Other than that I throw some phyto as well.

I've been using AB+ for about 2 weeks now. Seeing very good responses. Everything seems really happy. No real feeding responses though. Thanks for the info!

I mix reef chili, AB+, Goni powder, benepets and polyp booster once a week. Every one of my corals like something in there lol

Look into CRT Concotion. You can make a DIY version or buy it from @coral reeftank . There is a big discussion of it on this thread starting between pages 60-70.

Aso, several discussion about it on YouTube and podcasts.

Benefits powder for me. I personally don’t have luck with aminos, seems to give me an algae outbreak whenever I use them. After doing some research a few others experienced the same. Though majority of people like aminos.

I actually listened to it yesterday I think. Is this the one that uses different bacteria to ferment the mix? I'll check out the thread. Thank you!

Bought some Reef Roids last night and used today after a water change for the 1st time. Saw some good feeding responses from most of my corals. Will check phosphates tonight. Thanks for all the advice everyone!
