Yes, hoping to finish the prep work and get it wet in a month. Hopefully not two months. Still need some bracing for the stand (want to add a T-slot brace in the middle to also mount fans and stuff), lid is in progress, glass weir wall for the refugium space, light mounting in design phase, a second base on the tank--I don't like that the front glass hangs over the stand doors unsupported, so thinking to add a fat sheet of acrylic or glass beneath the whole tank. Yeah, hoping it'll be ready in a month. The transfer is what's most stressing me out. Tank is going exactly where the current tank is, so everything must come out followed by moving 40g, replacing with 83g, filling 83g, getting life support going, and then moving fish into the 83 g. In one day.
Don’t you have an upgrade coming?
I've noticed that! You can see I have the current orange plate in a Zoa Garden Prison. Kind of like a white collar prison where they have tennis courts and pretty scenery and the food isn't slop. He's fine where he is but knows he's on a tight leash.be aware that lil sucker is going to move 1" or more a night, they like to walk...

That's the rub. Old tank goes down first. Everything in large buckets. Fortunately, I'll get the entire staff to help out, I imagine Gotta pick a slow day at the office.Oof
It’s definitely doable and honestly the faster the better. I didn’t lose anything in my transfer but then I didn’t have to take down the old tank till after.
