In short, I hope it will get out and start a new bud like the neighbor sapling did after its little green tip withered too (maybe from water too) Should i maybe cut off that stem?

I would leave it alone. It should dry out and callous on its own, cutting it will only open up an opportunity for infection

I've done best with mangroves in shallow water. When I had some in a fairly full 20 gallon high, the ones where the tips were near the surface eventually rotted, they did have good roots though. I've also heard that disturbing them, like moving them, will stress them and may drop their leaves.

Misting them with fresh water helps drain salt build up on them.

I heard that red mangrove removes salt through the stem and do not need to spray, but I still do it sometimes. As long as I live with my parents I don't think I will have another aquarium).

The stem continues to wither, but the body of the mangrove seedling itself has become more and noticeably softer:loudly-crying-face:
What are the chances of it surviving?
I changed the water to tap settled water , the whole time it was standing in water 1.010

Upd: i think it stopped drying/roting in this position. Looks to me like some chances to develop some buds like it's brother on the left (hope so). But I'm a bit worried about sapling softness and wrinkles, but if look on other saplings - they are not so hard too, maybe it's a bit of delusions about softness. What are your opinions?
