The smaller ones just disappeared? But now it seems like bigger ones have taken their place? I have had my tank for a little over 2 months. I am fairly new to saltwater. Still learning.

Any help is appreciated.

Looks like your Xenia died and some aiptasia have taken over. Please get rid of the frag plug altogether. Aiptasia are pest anemones that can sting your corals and fish.

Oh no thank you for your help. Do I need to treat the whole tank?

Those are some impressive aptasia. If the smaller growth behind it was Xenia, they have been stung by the aptasia. You will get lots of opinions about how to control the aptasia and I will add my two cents worth. Inject Aptasia-x directly in the center of them. Also add peppermint shrimp to the tank to deal with the ones that are too small for you to see yet. It will be a battle but you can win.
