So I recently came into a small conundrum. I’ve already made my decision, but I’m just curious about what you do. Here’s the scenario:
You’re looking to buy 2 pieces of equipment from a small business.
You can buy them directly from the small business under the following terms:
Total Price $39.99 (plus taxes - free shipping)
You may return most new, unopened items within 60 days of delivery for a refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect item). On voluntary or customer error returns customers are responsible for the return shipping cost and or outbound shipping costs and fees.
Or
You can buy the items from the same small business but shipped from Amazon:
Total price: $44.99 (plus tax - free shipping)
Standard Amazon return policy applies.
In this case, I went with Amazon just due to the ease of returns if needed.
