Hello everyone,

Can anybody help me identify what type of dry rock this is? I can't find any information online, and the seller is unsure of the specific type as well. He says the rocks came from the Philippines, however I can't find any information on Google.

It's new, and is being sold for $3/per pound - is that a good deal?

Thanks for taking the time to read this post!

I have never seen "New dry rock" with color other than white. Not saying it doesn't exist. I would worry about what nutrients were locked up in those rocks.

To me it looks like a Marco rock that has been weathered or maybe submerged at one time, not fresh quarried rock. Some of the flat rock that is more gray and porous looks like ocean rock from the Caribbean. I have Haitian rock that looks like some of that rock.
