ThanksI would tend to agree.
I know that there's a slight difference in the number of dorsal spines, but I tend to look at the iris of the eye - orange for percula, dark in oscelaris. (Given that many of these guys are captive bred, hybridization isn't out of the question, either - could be an oscula or a percularis . . . )

Thanks he darker one does have lighter eyes with a gold ring around the pupilI'm thinking the first is an oceallaris and the second is a percula but I'm not certain, #reefsquad any thoughts?
Update picture , still percula ?I would tend to agree.

Ok cool I wasn’t sure if That last spine near the next fin would be 11 or no that’s why I’m asking okStill looks like a Perc to me.
I think there has been so much mixing in the gene pool with these fish that the spine count isn't as reliable anymore. It definitely still has the eye coloration of a perc and the overall skin coloration as most yellow-orange perc's I have seen.Ok cool I wasn’t sure if That last spine near the next fin would be 11 or no that’s why I’m asking ok
I only count 10 spines in this picture and the first one... also has the classic thick black lines around the white bars. Agree this is a Perc.Ok cool I wasn’t sure if That last spine near the next fin would be 11 or no that’s why I’m asking ok
