Well my aquapod has been running all summer and I still don't have fish in it. Current stock list is zoanthids, xenia, mushroom polyp, and a cleaner shrimp.
What should I get? Nothing to pricey, if I had money I'd have a fish by now and I'd get a golden dwarf moray. I was thinking a pair of black and white occ. clownfish. and something else.

I think clowns are about as fun to watch as any, I would go with a pair of clowns. but you can get firefish cheaper, prolly 15 a piece or so.

I like frogfish but only concern would be having to get live feeder shrimp, where would i keep them, and that fact that i want inverts and already have a cleaner shrimp and don't want to see that eaten.

Clownfish are sounding less and less appetising. They are too common. I want something cheap but rare, not as in price but something that you don't see everyday in a nano reef. I'm thinking of getting something this weekend, depending on how my aquarium tests tomorrow, just to give my tank some activity. Today it was at 1.030 and I'm constantly doing top-offs. We'll see tomorrow. I wouldn't go till Sunday anyways. Thinking of setting up a smaller nano or pico for rare zoas and my cleaner shrimp, then getting something. Frogfish sound real cool.

i would love that 1.030 seems VERY high IMO i like to run mine around 1.026
Yeah I know. 1.026 is on the high side for me. I like to keep mine at 1.024 but I just got back from a 2 day trip to Dallas. Saw some rhinopias anglers (frogfish looking) at the Dallas Aquarium, very cool fish.

I don't think I would add an angler to a nano tank unless it was going to be the only fish in there. Any of the frogfish can and will eat any fish smaller than (or even as big as) itself.
I've always liked the tail-spot blennies.

Well here's the plan for today. Going to take the cheato, shrimp, corals out, move rock out, clean glass real good, try to reaquascape and fit smaller pieces of rock in the back chambers, reaquascape so where rock isn't on the side walls because I can't clean there and algae gets bad, also going to frag my xenia today. It's splitting into three stalks, but hasn't split all the way yet. Going to look and see what I can do while I'm reaquascaping. Also going to take out water so set the corals/shrimp/cheato in and going to take that out and put in distilled. SG hasn't budged, which is wierd because when I did the math that 1g of distilled should have lowered it to about 1.025, maybe my math is bad, sure hope not because school is about to start.

Well as soon as my 125g sells that'll give me plenty of money, and I'm still considering it but thinking of setting up like a 5g or 8g pico and use that for rare zoas and my cleaner shrimp and just do a frogfish in the 24g and maybe a occ. clownfish in the pico.
