Consider yourself lucky! If feed heavily they might be getting the occasional scrap too. With so many that I had those scraps and food would be pretty competitive and snagged quickly.
I know they’re getting residual floating foods

This is great info. I have hoped to have RFA reproduce in my tanks but have not found babies yet. I have seen individuals release sperm but that’s it. Did you ever notice any other activity/behavior that preceded the babies appearing?
