So I foolishly added some rocks from my refugium that was covered in caleurpa as like an in tank refugium and that was a mistake because my tank is over run with it. I came across this one REEF2REEF post about reef flux completely annihilating the caleurpa and it was the exact type that I have. I do have a small ball of chaeto that’s about a golf ball size. The only issues are that my Fuge’s main type of macro I have in there and the reef flux would probably melt it. Now I am worried because this caluerpa is holding down my PO4 and NO3 so I expect a spike. I know that I can’t turn my skimmer on while treating. Will this reef flux be safe in my fish and corals? My white tail Kole tang wats it but only like 1-4 nibbles a day an at that rate I’ll be dead
