Yeah, similar issue here. I had been using the same flake forever, I stupidly made a change to the brand of flake coupled with I mixed pellets in with the flake. I tossed the original container of the flake so I am not sure what I am using to be honest. I had always had my auto feeder set to 4 times with 2 spins. But with this new food source my PO4 has gone up to .5x range. All I know of my original flake is that it had a yellow tang on the container. I use to buy the biggest size possible so it would always last forever, I would buy more than one too as I hate running out of stuff and am not afraid to buy in bulk. So I have lots of this high PO4 stuff mixed with pellets if anyone wants it, lol. To check this, I have 2 displays. On one of my displays I took my feeder off line Friday and put some phosguard in. PO4 tested .16 Sunday. I put the feeder back on line and shut the reactor off. I then waited 30 minutes after a feeding and the PO4 was .41. Cray Cray.Afs? Automated feed system?
Any pellet or dry food will have phosphate. I am convinced the freeze dried food in my new plank auto feeder was a major contributor in a recent phosphate spike from .05 to .98.
3x a day for a week and that was what my numbers jumped to. I’ve disconnected it while looking for better food options
Well Randy, you just gave me the next Apple Watch idea.No natural food is or can be phosphate free.

Interesting. How long do you run each time, and what size tank?I have to dose phosphate to keep it from gong to zero while feed reef jerky 5 times per day.
The NLS flake doesn't seem to affect my parameters either tbh. The phosphate content must be low enough that the tank uses most of it up.I do also (did) use a flake food that did not spike my numbers. Sadly it’s been out of stock a while and I’ve run out.
