I'm flip-flopping trying to decide what LED bars to buy for supplemental lighting for my Kessils.

What's your go-to light bars? Love to hear your guys' opinions!

AI Blade especially for the Kessil. You want as even spread as you can to compensate for the Kessil point source

The reefbrite X series hybrid kits are amazing if you have the money

Quanta Pro's or the new Helix (updated version of the quanta pro's). I honestly wouldn't buy any other bar that's out there. They are either overpriced and cheaply made or they just lack in quality spectrum. I hear the new GHL bars are nice, but I'm not sure about the price and I hate their software, but their hardware is made to last.

Agreed (all though I do not mind their software).

Price comparison of three bars for my 24" tank. Will have to add the Helix to the comparison once they become available. The Helix will be controllable via 0-10V, correct?

Quanta Pros (37W) = $140 each
Total = $420

Mitras Lightbar 3 Deep Ocean/Ocean Blue (42W) = $176 each
Mitras-LB-Power Supply (200W) = $130
Mitras-LB-Splitter = $36
Mitras-LB-Cable-RJ45 = $14
Total to Run from Profilux = $708
Total to Run Straight On/Off = $694 (Comparison to the Quanta, excludes RJ45 cable)

I think I got all that's needed to run the Mitras correct.

While I'm sure the GHL bars are nice, they do cost (a lot) more. With that does come a single power supply and control via Profilux. Is it worth it, for me no.

Looks interesting, but unfortunately I can't find the Quanta bars anywhere... May not be available where I am, Canada. :s

Is the Helix released? I'm only seeing the Pros on the Quanta website.
