I was moving fragplugs around and found this worm!
In the process of catching this worm, I got stung by fur looking spine of the worm, I managed to pull most of them off my hand but it itches. Would I need to get medical treatment or just wait and see?

Wear gloves!!!!

Bristle worm harmless to many unless you are allergic to them. A scavenger in our tanks.

I've read that you can put duct tape or a dab of super glue gel on a fresh bristle worm sting and when you pull it off, it will take the little spines out along with it. Not sure if it actually works, but one of the mods over on RC posted it in my local reef club forum when someone got stung

I believe it will work.
When I was stung last night, I could see fur looking spikes in lineal formation, if I have known this yesterday I would have done so. In frustration, I picked them with my other hand, I'm sure a lot of them are still on my skin.
Thanks for your information, I will wear gloves in the future!
