Have had my blue tang in QT a week and a few days ago I noticed some white blobs on it and more showing up. Please help to identify. Treating with copper in QT and did a freshwater dip already others in QT are fine.

Need to use a flashlight or just white lighting. The blues will make identification difficult or misleading.

Seems to be lympho or musus cones that are often associated with ich. Need the white light photos to correctly diagnose. Can you describe your QT method also?

More pictures. Hopefully better. I used a flashlight
Also for QT I am using a bare bottom. Hang on back filter. Bubbler. Heater. Tiny power head. Freshwater dip first for 5 min with bubbler in clean bucket with 8.0 ph. Same as QT. RO water. In tank salinity is 35ppt. Was slowly raised because had to match reef beauty’s water parameters. Do full water change every two to three days and clean everything and tank. Temp is at 78.

Pretty sure it’s lympho after comparing with pictures from others. Thank y’all for the help. I will try to get better at pictures.

Take videos and then export still shots. Easier than trying to "snap" the perfect pic.
That’s how I did the last ones. Little dude is quick and likes to swim laps next to the glass close to the heater. Swims in the open a good bit too. But likes the heater spot.

I agree it looks like lympho - pretty common in new tangs. Just keep an eye on it and continue qt’ing as normal.
Will do for sure. Doesn’t look like any new spots. One little one close to one of its gills. But doesn’t seem too bothered by it really beside swimming laps by the glass wall.
