What is this SPS coral doing to my Hystrix?

Just noticed this today. Also any Hystrix piece too close to the green SPS coral (no idea what SPS it is) is white / dead. Is the green SPS homicidal?

i would guess the green coral is a hydnophora, they can be very aggressive and it is trying to kill the other coral. They need a decent amount of space around them.
