My tank in currently fallow because of a recent ich outbreak. Checked my parameters and all seem well but… worried about these two:

Hammer:

It’s been closed up for about a week now. And looks to be receding. I can see theres like some dark purple-ish spots on it. Should I be concerned?

Acans:

My acans was gnawed on by a peppermint shrimp not too long ago when I added it but since then removed. It was then recovering well, tissue growing back. But today I noticed a brown burnt like thing on it. I circled where it’s at. It’s just at that one spot. Also I see that theres like this small purple thing near the skeleton. Should I be concerned?

Sorry bud. Seems your phos is very low. Feed fish more or add in a bit of reef roids. Lps like the dirtier water.
Alright I’ll work on increasing the phos. I see there are like purple-ish spots on it though. Could that be flatworms? Can flatworms be the reason for the hammer to shrivel up?

If you have a bad infestation, Flatworm Exit is commonly used to treat the tank.

Just make sure you do some reading on properly using FE so you don’t end up with bad problems.

If you don’t have a really bad case, getting a fish that will eat them can help.

What fish will eat them? My tank is currently fallow so I’ll have to wait 2 months before I can get a new fish. Prazi won’t work?
