Ah, the joy of going out of town to a new place you have never been before. From the hustling, bustling city of NYC to the mountains of the Alps to the beachside of California, there is no shortage of places we can visit worldwide. I want to know what is your favorite place you have ever visited and why. (Share pictures with us if you have some!) Photo Credit: @dilan patel

Northern Michigan, Betsie and Platte Rivers during the fall Salmon run. Beautiful sunrises and awesome fishing.

Since this has turned into a post about my favorite place on earth I’ll share some non standard Honolua bay shots. No place has meant more to me and my photography career than the Bay.

I took a pic of that same tree last February! We didn't snorkel at the beach though, it was just a quick stop as we were exploring.

I didn’t realize it was famous. :face-with-tears-of-joy:
I showed up there on my last day on a whim and was shocked how good the snorkeling/free diving was.

karlsruhe Germany. I was stationed there in the early 90's and as an MP we had to patrol the areas around. There were wild boars, deer, other animals that had been fed by the MP's for decades. You would pull up when on night patrol and honk your horn and they would come running and we would feed them. Each area had a different kind of animal we would feed. Oh yeah, best beer and the food was unbelievable.

I grew up in Anchorage and agree, some of the most impressive land in America. I have to say I missed this place and have never seen or heard of it. It looks like an awesome place.

While I’ve been fortunate to travel both domestically and internationally a decent amount - there are so many places I’ve loved. From Victoria and Tofino on Vancouver Island, to New York City and Boston. Santorini to Cyprus to Switzerland (maybe the most stunning scenery IMO). But tops, by far - Italy! Food is outstanding and varies so much region to region. The scenery is great too and the people are friendly to tourists.

Went to Bologna last year - amazing food there. I don’t know my favorite place in Italy, but here’s a few shots.

Victoria Sychelles, Victoria BC, Victoria Australia, Victoria falls, Lake Victoria, Victoria’s secret. Which Victoria? ;):face-with-tears-of-joy:

The issue when a monarchy runs around the world naming everything after their monarch.
