I'm looking to buy some new test kits and some supplements.

What have you used successfully to test for calcium, alk, magnesium, and ph?

What supplements do you like for the aformentioned chemicals?

I like Salifert for Ca and Mag, API for Alk as I'm not looking to split hairs and its quick/simple - PH doesn't fluctuate enough for me to fret about it. (never used Elos)

I use Bulk Reef Supply 3-part, use their reactors for GAC/GFO

Don't forget salt, pretty important when you laying out coin for supplements. I've been using Reef Crystals but I'm gonna try out Coralife due to bigger Ca and Mag numbers - cheaper too in my neck of the woods anyways.

I like my Elos for MG and CA. I use API for my ALK but will get Elos when this runs out. I use Salifert for PH and Phosphate.

I use API for Ca, ALK,and Red Sea for Mag. I have used Salifert also. I use a probe for Ph. I got the same test results using API and Salifert and Red Sea so I refuse to buy salifert when I am getting the same results for less money. I have been using

I use Randy's DIY for Mag, Ca reactor for Ca, and Baking soda for ALK.
