what do I do when my zoa is too big for the frag?

My Zoa has grown too many frons and 3 broke off of the frag. If I put it in a hole in my rock will it continue to grow and attach itself to the reef rock???

yes it should! they just magically spread im getting ready to do the same thing

Once the colony gets big and old enough they'll start breaking off the edges and just floating away. In our tanks that usually means death but they will pop up in the strangest places.

I have some snails with zoas on them. Fortunately for the snails, they aren’t my GMK or similar else it wouldn’t be a fun time
