I bought a head of Miami Vice about 2 months ago. (or at least that's the name i was given from the online store).
In the two months time, it hasn't grown additional heads. It seems perfectly healthy. It's always open and I certainly don't see any red flags.
Are these slow growers?
Does anyone else have any experience with these types?

I have another zoa, that i got when it had 3 heads. Within the 3 months of having it, up to now, it has a good 15-20 heads on it. I wish I knew the name of it, but i don't know.

Different zoas will grow at different speeds. For me, they tend to have a bit of an acclimation period and once they settle in, they take off

Any of the vice zoas, miami, tropical, blue kiss, etc, are generally fast growers that will tolerate higher par. They're likely still in a stall from their initial fragging. Perhaps target feed them with a little frozen food slurry or prepared food and see if that jump starts them.

well, I'm coming up on 4 months now of having this Miami vice zoa. yesterday, I did my bi-weekly water change and the zoa still had one large head. I MIGHT have seen a speck of another head, but I couldn't tell. It certainly wasn't that obvious.

got home tonight, and was looking everything over, not expecting any change. To my surprise, this Miami zoa has two HUGE heads. side by side. almost the same size. How on earth does a new head grow that big in less than 24 hours? I ant complaining, but that is really odd.
