What do I do if the fish store doesn't give me enough water?

I just bought some cerith snails and the bag doesn't have enough water to fill the bottom of my bucket. Should I throw in fresh saltwater and the bag water?

Is there at least an inch in the bottom? Maybe use a narrower container would help. They're not fish so they don't need to be swimming.

I've received snails in wet paper towels before. I temp the bag then rinse them in tank water and add to tank. If your QTing I can't really help.

Real common to get snails with very little water. And as others mentioned, wet paper towels only.

Ceriths are intertidal. Mine are constantly hanging out at and above the water line all the time.

Worked out ok. It was just enough water to keep their face below the water. Just have 30 minutes of drip acclimation left
