The souls of your enemies!!!!!!

...but seriously, they are detritovores, so as long as you have a well established tank you should be fine as thwu should be feeding on detritus and small bits of whatever you feed your fish and corals.

Hello again think youve answered a few of my questions today haha, appreciate it.
Thing is they going to be in a sterile tank for a bit before my established tank, what could I feed them while in there? An algae wafer? Get some spirulina powder going? Liquid invert food?

Yeah I literally was typing up an additional response because I only just now realized you were doing that lol. I am not sure. Let me drag in some more experienced reefers. See if anyone has kept them in a non-established, sterile tank before and how they fed them. I would think maybe target feed phyto or baby brine shrimp or something.

I was trying to raise baby brine shrimp and threw a piece of liverock in that tank. That rock had some micro brittle stars on it and a few days later I noticed the stars centers were huge from gorging on the bbs. I believe you can buy a small jar of just hatched bbs. I agree they eat about anything. Maybe chopping it to mush would be better.

IMHO and fine powder coral food or liquid fish food (like Reef Nutrition) would be good for micro brittle stars. And it would probably work better if you turned off the pumps in the tank and let the food settle for a few minutes. I do that all the time for my zoas, anemones, sea stars and more.
