What are some good snorkeling spots at The Keys?

My Wife and I are taking a spontaneous trip to The Keys in a week for our anniversary. I really would like to do some snorkeling on some reefs.

Any good areas or guided tour recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Ah I LOVE the keys. There are some nice snorkeling sites in john pennekamp. If you're REALLY feeling adventurous some of the best snorkeling in the keys is over in the Dry Tortugas.

head over to the lounge...ron reefman has an extensive thread over there on snorkling and collecting in the keys....when i went in Feb it was too cold and windy to hit anything they recommended...and i found that any trips to the dry tortugas or Fort Jefferson needed to be booked in advance
