What is it and how old is it?

A Tunze in-tank skimmer that I won here at R2R about 5 years ago. Everything else in the tank is fairly new... well, the tank itself is probably 10 yesrs old or more.

AQUANEAT Aquarium Circulation Pump, Fish Tank Powerhead Pump, Saltwater Wave Maker, Submersible Water Pump, Suction Cup, 2pcs (Small 480 GPH) https://a.co/d/dgqAo6p

I've been running these for 4 years now. Started them in fresh water and moved some to my FOWLR 2 years ago

I'm pretty sure I built my skimmer 25 or 30 years ago. (maybe more) :anguished-face: It's still running.

One of my diatom filters is from I think the 60s. I rarely use it because a few months ago I built a new one.

I also use this powerhead probably from the 70s or 80s. I only use it now for mixing ASW but it still works perfectly.

The "Thermometer" I use is from 1907. I didn't get it then but I took it from the Plaza Hotel in Manhattan and it has been on my tank for about 15 or 20 years.

The manifold on my reverse under gravel filter may be from the 70s

My "Swing Arm Hydrometer" is probably from the 70s. To calibrate it I take it to the tropics and jump in the ocean with it, then draw a line on it where the thing floats. :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:

Reefbreeders photon v2 light is 8+ years

My swing arm is 10 years, not quite as old as Paul B's

I have a NC water valve I found in my grandfather's stuff when he past away. No idea how old it is. If I had to guess, probably late 70's to early 80's. He worked for Monsanto fixing machines. His garage was full of stuff like that.
It's my RODI feed valve now. I've been using it 20ish years.
