I’ve been there too, honestly I have kinda learned to live with it. I just pic the clumps out when they get big enough, and strangely it seems to be the worst around my overflow and in my refugium.
yep. i have already taken all the rocks out and scrubbed and dipped them in clean saltwater twice. they were beautiful and clear for about a month. this time i just said **** it, I’ll fix it when I upgrade the tank.

Lets see. For the first 4 weeks i filled up my ATO with saltwater because why would you put freshwater in a saltwater tank? LOL

Then i read about kalk stirrers, i assumed kalk needed to be stirred, its only logical if they sell things to mix it up, so every day i would shake up the container of kalk......

yea.....learning curves.

I got into reefing thinking it would be a safe relaxing hobby :thinking-face: So far I've flooded the house, almost burned it down overflowing a tank onto a power strip, and I fell off a chair when I stuck my hand in a tank that had 50 volts from leaking powerheads. Wonder what tomorrow will bring lol
Good ideas for a new final destination Movie :grinning-face-with-smiling-eyes:
