yeah although i think pulling the moorish idol on us is like @Paul B laughing at us while sipping champagne.
I consider the Moorish Idol a complete failure at 5 or 6 years.

I just broke down an old RedSea tank. I removed the clown fish pair and the long tentacle anemone into their new home. Had them all for about 14 years. Also one older hermit crab. When taking out the sand and last few inches of water this weekend I found a snail and fighting conch. Both survived the cold.
My other tank has 2 regal angels, white tailed bristletooth tang, a black pyramid butterfly and another pair of clowns and other smaller fish. All 6 years old. I am breaking that tank down in 2 weeks. Wish them well

what the heck... your puffers didn't say thank you for the gourmet shrimp treats?

Ive seen pea puffers decimate amanos and those are like 5x time the size of cherries.
dwarf puffers only coexist with shrimps, everything else get nipped..

wow... i wish i had puffers like that...

Everytime i would mix them, they would either nip the hell out of there tank mates... or chase down something like a pack of rabid dogs.
i had 11 dwarf puffers in a 240l tank.. no snails of course (unless as food)

Are you getting an upgrade? If so, good luck.
I am replacing an old narrow 140 gallon tank with a new 230.6 Infinia from WaterBox. This time I will be tiling under the tank. I like carpet in my living room. But it is hard to replace with a large tank on it. And thanks. I set up and cycled a few smaller tanks to hold my fish while I switch things out. Perfect time to paint. New carpet. Lift up the floor to add a few supports. Only way to get at it sadly. Add some electrical. So they might be in their temporary tanks for a while. I put a protein skimmer on one of them. I am stressing to be honest.

Thanks, I will need the good luck. I would hate to lose my little guys.

I had a clown and yellow tail make it over 25 years. I think the youngest fish in my tank is about 10 years old. 2 starfish 1 for 8 years and the other for 20+. A scarlet crab that's 18 to 20. Hes a monster. I haven't bought any since 2006.
