Runner, Bicycler, Reefer, Entomology expert, and yes I like Skull art. I was searching eel topics and I came across this forum.
I am currently working on a hybrid reef/eel tank. Originally, 2006, I started with a 55g reef tank that did well for 6 years. Then one day...Dead. Next I got into a 75g triangle hexagon aggressive tank: blue lined, undulates, clown, niger, Picasso, and pink tail Trigger, Black panda Dog Face Puffer, harlequin tusk, princess parrot fish And then I got an eel: a Zebra Moray eel. I moved late 2016. Gave my whole setup to a friend. I had a 120 Gallon Cichlid tank also, gave those all to the LFS. So now I am working on this reef/eel tank. This will have some of the safer flora and fona for an eel tank. I got lots of truly live rock from the ocean; it has lots of life. The tunicates (light bulbs) are pretty neat. I welcome all typical reef pests in this tank- hydroids and apaptasia are welcome, as are bristle worms. Maybe not those small starfish things. I also have a baby sea urchin. The tank has been on a slow burn and I just got last week my Zebra Eel, Brazilian Banana Eel. I still want and miss my Black Dog Face Puffer. I have 10 plus Years in the Salt Water Reef Keeping. I am even more experience with fresh water cichlids.
My plan is to have a very scary, extremely ominous reef/eel tank.

Check my YouTube Channel for tank updates, just showing off the tank, and its progress nothing more.

@Michael Goldberg

Welcome to Reef 2 Reef :)

Gotta love the Banana eel. Have you tried mantis shrimp, within the mix?
