I put a nice anemone in my 15g and after seeing how they can move and pick spots, I didn’t want to risk it stinging any of the current corals, many of them can’t be relocated, so they do not get approval for this tank

That gunk it pulls out I view as coral food kept in my water column. Most of the time. I used chemi clean and that needs a skimmer to remove it, so after the treatment was over I did run a skimmer for a few days but once it stopped going crazy I unplugged it.

Can’t stop! Won’t stop! Unlimited hosting bwahaha

I have lots of time for photos when my tank requires no maintenance. To the non believers of the algae scrubber - here is my proof. Maybe it doesn’t fix everyone’s situation, but don’t tell me I can’t grow algae in one area and have it not grow in another!

Display grows basically nothing.

Yet in the scrubber….algae thrives and I need to empty weekly


This is the scrubber after I took out a handful yesterday

And the corals all doing well with practically no pest algae, and no work on my side. No dosing, waterchanges, reactors, or skimmer.
