Hey guys, So i have a 40B
Parameters are
ALK: 12.5
CALCIUM: 430
MAG: 1230
NITRATE: 11.3
PH: 8
PHOSPHATE: 0.33
I did just change from Cora life to red sea coral pro salt. And the only new addition to the tank is chaeto. I did have a coral that died but i took it out of the tank once it went completely white. But i feel like since i don't have a TON of corals its making my alk too high. So i bought a box of fritz salt (blue box) for the next water change. I'm sad there's so much change going on with the salts, idk how the tank will respond but anyway.
Since i added the cheato i have been getting this white debris floating around and sticking to everything. It does seem to be worse IN the refugium. I also added a Diamond Goby, who is definitely churning up the sand lol
However i have seen my nitrates and phosphates go down since adding the chaeto.
Maybe you guys can ID it so i know what and how to fix it?
