As we are in the first quarter of the year-
What has been your joy and what has been your disappointments so far this year?

For me- Finding nice colonies locally has been my joy

Frustrations: Price increases and Product availability with items such as test reagents and supplements frequently " Out Of Stock"

The recovering live good pipeline from covid has been great. Finding something shiny and interesting pretty often now. Constant out of stocks are getting frustrating, specifically on dry goods.

My biggest plus is there have been alot of really good sales and price reductions on some equipment this year. Gotten alot of upgrades in the past 4 months.

Tank is still chugging along quite nicely.

Bad:
Had 3 fish jump out recently. One being one of my oldest fish a black leopard. Yes I have a screen top, they just seem to find that 2" gap at the back where the wires go through.

Sounds like youre gonna have one heck of an opportunity to use that battlebrush thats coming in your battlebox!! Its a great tool and has tough bristles.

Good- I hv been able to donate my undy 5th-6th time and it seems happy there(it has been kept alone there)

Bad- My 375 g is still running empty as my lfs had turned mean. They r selling me tangs double the price I used to buy don't know why

Anything over 2 polyps is a colony...

It just might look small in your tanks.

Good- all but one, I gave away or sold for ridiculously low price with the stipulation that if anything happens to my original corals I can get a frag back for free or the price I sold it for. I’ll be making some calls soon after I get it all sorted out.

Hello vetteguy. Now that you asked.

Bad, watching my 7 year old reef die and selling all life and supplies a few weeks ago. Had all my teeth extracted 6 days ago, my bad for skipping the dentist for a couple years because of covid. Lost all fillings and 2 crowns, teeth breaking very easy. Finally went to the dentist last month and he says they are not repairable. So now I have dentures.

Good, I now have a nice looking African Cichlid tank with just fish, 25 one inch babies that will reach 4-5 inches, in my 75 gallon.
