Well I'm new to these forums but not new to the hobby. Purchased the original 12 jbj years ago. Have bred and kept freshwater for 15 years including breeding discus, angelfish, and blue rams. In the process of building a home for our 30x30x20 Lee-Mar 3 sided starphire cube that I'm slowly piecing together. So on to my current jbj...
The pumps are upgrades to maxijet 1200. As some of you know I purchased an aquamaxx hob protein skimmer recently but just can't seem to get any skimmate. I'm going to give it one more week to see if it will pull any skimmate. I also added an ecoxotic actinic led strip. The tank inhabitants include a gold stripe maroon clown, royal gramma, bangaii cardinal, tiger conch, snails and hermits. Now on to the photos

Finally got the skimmer running right!

i was gonna say! good looking tank! and the oils of your hand while setting up skimmer take about a week to wear off in the nano skimmers on the small tanks
