Howdy all reefers.

So my tank is currently going through the cycle of life I love it but its not so pretty to look at. I expect it to be all green and brown.

But I just did my water testing (which gets done every 3 days)

Salinity 25

How do you raise Alk/ Kh currently reading at 6.1
My current is
No3 (nitrates)
25
Nh3 (ammonia)
0
No2 (nitrites)
0
Po4 (Phosphates)
I'm having difficulties accessing but looks like 0

How do I do better with alk and Phosphates
My current set up is x2 clowns
X5 assarious snails
x1 pistol shrimp
X1 strawberries conch
X2 cleaner shrimps
X1 hammer head coral

Any advice or do you think this is normal?
Here's a picture of my beautiful little reef

What is your salinity and what brand salt do you use? You don’t have anything from what I can see that would consume alkalinity

A couple water changes should bring it back up

I would test alk in a fresh batch of sw that you make before it’s added to the tank
I don't have a ro unit so I buy it pre mixed from the shops unfortunately.
It's due a water change so currently on that.
Thank you

Hi. Do you mean 1.025 or 25? What are you using to measure salinity? The first is specific gravity and the second parts per million.
