Attempt 2 successful! Relocated the shrimp to the sump. There's aiptasia down there for them to snack on. Hopefully the hammer will recover ok.

Thank you! Man, talk about a comedy of errors for the first year. As soon as I stopped changing stuff every 5 seconds stuff started growing in. Go figure.Coral looks awesome in your tank!
Hey sometimes it's a simple solution to fix something hahaThank you! Man, talk about a comedy of errors for the first year. As soon as I stopped changing stuff every 5 seconds stuff started growing in. Go figure.
Gorgeousness tank!Everything growing in nicely! Nitrates are still high but i have increased water changes and started to run Matrix in my sump. F-Aiptasia took care of a lot of my pests. I have a feeling when i get my bitrates down i will see better sps growth, but the green slimer in particular is doing great (no surprise there).
Thanks! Took a long time to get it stable. I think if I hadn't had earlier setbacks it'd be twice as grown in. Oh well...live and learnGorgeousness tank!
Seems like your aiptasia aren't too bad but a cursory look at the creatures in your tank it seems like berghia nudis would do quite well in there if you find them locally which is becoming easier and easier these days! Thanks! That's the one biological method I haven't tried yet. They seem to be sold out whenever I look, and the adults aren't cheap. I should check in Marketplace or somethingSeems like your aiptasia aren't too bad but a cursory look at the creatures in your tank it seems like berghia nudis would do quite well in there if you find them locally which is becoming easier and easier these days!
You seem a particularly good candidate given your fish and all the rock. The annoying part is you really want at least 5 or 6 adults and that can run like 100 bucks. Lfs have been getting them in more frequently though as they start getting commercially farmed, so I'd just keep an eye out since you aren't overwhelmed rn.That's the one biological method I haven't tried yet.
