Ok, at RAP, I saw a couple tanks with male lyretail anthias in them. Originally I had wanted a school of Lyretails but decided against them. I've changed my mind again having seen the males. I'm just not sure the best way to do this. Ideally, 1 female and 1 male would be great. I know it can be done. here's what i'm thinking:
1. I could buy 3 females and add to my already established female and the latter will probably turn male, the guy i know of that has 1 male and 1 female did it this way, losing 2 females in the process, or
2. Add 1 male and hope for the best. This would be the cheapest and to me most humane way.
3. Or buy 1 female and see what happens there...
