Me too! Interesting little creatures. I recently went bare bottom for the first time, and I wish I had sand so I could have one.
If you have a low flow area you should be good. I've kept both long and short tentacle plate corals and lithophyllon on BB. As long as the flow isn't to high to push them around when they inflate. That's when I've seen the tissue get torn. Love these types of corals and I've been trying to get my hands on a decently price Diaseris species for awhile now.
