I just setup my versa pump and filled a container with RO. In the mobius app I can hit the fastforward button to make the pump spin but it doesn't pull any liquid. There are no leaks and the tubing seems to be as tight as it will go. Am I missing something? There are zero directions included.

My intake is also on the left side, the pump spins clockwise so I assume that's what I want but I did also check by hitting the rewind button and still no movement.

take the tubing out and reconnect. Sounds like there is air getting in somewhere stopping the pump from pulling the water.

Pic of the setup?

It appears to be an issue with the connection in the bulkhead. If I hold the black RO tubing in a cup of water it pumps it fine but after connecting to my jar it doesn't. It seems to need an impossibly perfect connection. Any idea around this? The hard plastic tube inside the jar is perfectly flat as well. Maybe the bulkhead is defective?

That's a push to connect as well and has o-rings that need to be sealed properly to pull water. Ensure that the tubes are pushed all the way in.

Wait a minute, is that a push to connect bulkhead?

I don't see the disconnect tab. What's the bottom side look like?

I believe it is just a push in style, this is the inside / bottom. That's what I was wondering though, if just pushing is the final step or I have to twist or something..

I can't tell if that even creates a seal and is probably your issue. And what are you using on the bottom side? Is that vinyl or silicone hose?

These are what I'd recommend to get a good seal.

This may be a stupid question…. But did you put a vent hole in that lid? If it seals air tight, it won’t be able to pull from your container.

Now that you say that, I think I remember reading that somewhere. But no I did not have a vent. I just took off the bulkhead and used straight ro tubing for now but maybe I'll try adding a vent and the bulkhead back at some point. Thanks for the idea!

I heat up a needle or thumb tack, makes the perfect size vent hole.
