Just noticed these growing on some rock. They appear to be Vermited snails, but I’m not experienced enough to be sure. What do you all think? Successful eradication techniques? Preferably not involving rock removal, but if that’s the only way - I’ll do it.

I’ve got a couple bumblebees, but maybe I need to go pick up another dozen or so.
Bumble bee snails work, have a lot of those in my tank as the previous owner never took care of them. Removed the rocks I could based on corals but I havnt seen any new ones! Six line wrasses reportedly eat them too, would need to ask the #wrassenerds if this is true or not, six lines can also be pretty aggressive too

Yep, looks like Vermetid snails. I had a few that I got rid of early on.

Your rocks looks relative new and without any corals on it. I would think it's easier at this stage to remove the rocks to scrape off the snails than to introduce bumble snail or fish for eradication.

Coral snow works well for them? I've been looking at trying the DIY one
It won’t eradicate all Vermetids but it does help some. I believe it works by clogging up their tubes with calcium carbonate so they’re not able to cast their nets.

DIY is what I use. All it takes is this and some RODI water to make a batch which will last a good while. Also makes my water crystal clear.

Looks like I'll try some Bumblebee snails and calcium carbonate first. If I don't see some sort of change soon after, I'll attempt to murder the snails myself with a pick, or as a last resort break down that corner of the tank and get that particular rock out and sanitized.
