I can not find my Scarlet Skunk since about 10minutes after I added him to the tank(2wks ago)... I have a 20gal long with about 16-17gal living space and I check everyday and I still can't find him. I during the day and right before I lay down for the evening and I thought I'd at least see him by now. He's just over an inch in size, so I might just be blind idk. I know they go into hiding when molting and I haven't seen any ammonia spikes. I have an emerald crab in the tank, but I don't think he'd be able to catch the shrimp tbh. So, I'm confused. Anyone have any similar experience?

Send a picture of the tank and the size of the crab.
I think it is possible for the crab to have eaten him but not without you noticing.
Maybe check the filter?

Sometimes they can be hard to find. They hide on the bottom side of a coral and a hole in the rock.
Last week I put a algae eating blenny in I didn't see him for eight days just saw him for the first time yesterday. I once had a leopard wrassie I didn't see him for 6 months before he popped out again.
Hopefully he's in there and you'll see him in the next day or two.
