Uv sterilizer

Hi guys I need some help please.
I have a redsea 170 and I bought a uv sterilizer evolution aqua 15w uv clarifier. I have just realised it is for a pond can it still be used on a marine tank or is anyone using this product?
It's a lot of hassle to send back so if it can be used it then I would rather do that.

You would need to plumb it and get a way to move water through.

I’d reach out to the manufacturer. Theoretically it should just be a matter of changing up the flow through it. They’ll be able to tell you for sure.
