Hi,

I just want to give y’all an update on how my pretty Halloween has been up to 12 days after Pumpkin’s death. Yeah, I named my fish.

She seems very healthy, swims fine and eats really good. She also started to host the hair algae as if it was a nem and would stay immobile for a bit, then moves again. I guess it’s normal behavior for clown fish? She also went and explored the tank a bit. And that’s the day after my other clown passed away. She’s still in observation for any diseases though.

And I changed my heater since the other one broke. I thought you’d like to hear some news about her since my last post.

Yes - clowns will sometimes host in algae, soft corals, even plastic plants if there isn’t an anemone for them.

Thanks for confirming this. And no way that I’ll place plastic decors in my tank. They can hurt fish.
