Hi all. I bought a mushroom coral from my LFS last week. Unfortunately I forgot to ask the name of it... It's been doing well, but just today I noticed that one edge of it seems to be pale/white. The other edges are a fleshy purple/brown color. Is this a sign that something is wrong with the coral? If so, what do I need to do to remedy the issue?

I think I noticed this pale spot a few days ago but didn't think anything of it. I'm not sure if the pale spot has gotten bigger or stayed the same, but it definitely hasn't gotten smaller.

Water parameters are all good. Temp is 79 F.

I figured out it's a green hairy Rhodactis (Rhodactis indosinensis).

I had it up on a piece of live rock, and I think it's getting too much flow. So I moved it down onto the sand bed. I'll keep an eye on it.
